Guitar: My lifelong love!
I started playing guitar when I was 10 years old. I continued to study privately until I went to Berklee College of Music. I have continued to play guitar my entire life, it is a joy and a never ending challenge to learn. I started teaching guitar lessons while in high school and found I had a natural talent to teach.
Instruction is well rounded, including jazz, classical and contempory music with a natural study of Music Theory.
I play classical guitar, electric, jazz archtop and acoustic guitars. Each type of guitar is a world onto itself.
I have been performing with the guitar (and bass) since the 1970s.

Bass: I have the soul of a bass player.
I started Upright Bass in Junior High School and played througout high school. In high school, having playing upright bass and guitar, someone put an electric bass in my hands and it felt like a toy. I started gigging on it while in high school.
As a show musician working my way through college, I started playing most gigs on upright bass. I have the soul of a bass player.
My bass was made in Italy about 100 years ago.

Of course I also have years of playing electric bass. My playing features funky, melodic bass parts.

Piano: My Current Companion.
These days I make my living playing piano with my School Choir.
When I was 18 I bought my first old upright piano. I had it rebuilt and loved it. I taught myself the basics, mostly enjoying playing and singing songs.
At Berklee College of Music I took keyboard classes.
I have enjoyed playing the piano all my life. I miss the grand piano I enjoyed while living in Florida.
I have introduced many people to the piano and provide well rounded, positive oriented lessons.
